The Mantis Autosport story starts in Oakville in 1978 with a passion for building VW race buggies. Mantis’ natural evolution was to then gravitate towards the Porsche platform for street, performance and race applications to fill a need in the market in the years that followed.
Today, we operate out of a 10,000ft2 facility in Oakville, ON under new ownership that boasts 30+yrs of experience in the Porsche dealer environment and gold level certification.
Mantis is here to provide diagnostics, warranty-approved servicing and maintenance, as well as mechanical and electrical repairs. With our state-of-the-art equipment, Mantis specializes in engine and transmission rebuilding, custom suspension solutions, complete vehicle systems and fabrication and even have in-house dyno and tuning services.

Mantis has been racing for more than 40 years. With all of those hours spent at the track we know how to efficiently make sure your car is ready to bring you maximum amount of reliability and adrenaline! We use post and pre track inspections to ensure your vehicle is capable and safe for the track from driver education to full club and series racing.
Our services include everything from engine and transmission builds and maintenance to suspension solutions and installations including track alignments and corner balancing for optimal handing and fast lap times!
